Ok so I am deciding to persue my life with the stock market. I have had many successful family members in the stock market such as Sam Skurnick. I am 100% confused on how the stock market works and how you work with it. Are the actual jobs working witht the stock markets? Or is it just a side activity anyone can do to try to earn a lot of money. Like what I am trying to say is this. Is the stock market a side thing anyone can do to earn money or are the jobs involving the stock market where you work there every day for your job? What courses would I need to take in college to be involved with the market and what can I do as a current sophmore in highschool to learn about the stock market to start up my future career with the market. Basicly I am asking anyone kind enough to explain everything about the stock market. Is it an every day life job or is it a side thing for people looking to earn money. You can be either stock trader or stock investor in stock market. stock trader to me is more like another job than a mere investment. you have to have tools and some large funds to be successful. reason, stock trading needs money for stop losses, asset allocation and risk management.
but if you decided to go for long term stock investment, just like warren buffet did, doesn’t matter if you have jobs to caters. once you spotted good stocks and buy at discounted value, you can expect your money grow over time. but that doesn’t mean you can just buy any stocks at any time though.
