Thanks for the responses, and I did look in the text book, and online, and in a dictionary for some of you who were quiet rude. The teacher said use outside resources other than the textbook so thats what I did and I am having trouble with those words, excuse me for asking. Thanks

You will be more capable if you read them there.
although this response may be similar to a barrier to entry it is a functional growth strategy on my part regarding the questioner’s core competencies.

Your textbook is a good start.
A dictionary.
An online dictionary, it’s possible that your textbook has an online supplement to go with the textbook.
Try to use your textbook as much as possible because the definitions your teacher is seeking is going to come from the text.
